REESHA's goal is to spread joy and bliss by embracing the value of 'Barakat,' a word with cognates in Pashto, Dari, Turkish, and Arabic that translates as “abundance,” “divine gift”, blessings", and "prosperity". Barakat embodies a collective desire across cultures, histories, religions and languages to live in a fruitful and welcoming world. We pay hommage to the situated knowledge and wisdom of this ancestral framework through our service to the citizens of Afghanistan.
