Marjeela Basij-Rasikh is the Founder and CEO of REESHA. Born and raised in Kabul city. She was 4-year-old when the oppressive regime of Taliban took over Afghanistan in 1996. During that time, she attended a secret school for girls, since education for girls and women was illegal under the dark regime of the Taliban.
