Approximately 700,000 boys and 300,000 girls across Afghanistan are victims of forced child labor and are thus unable to attend school.
REESHA fundamentally believes that education is the path to escaping poverty. REESHA pays for after-school programs, subsidizes essential school supplies for families, and collaborates with local organizations to provide children with educational scholarships. Our work to date has brought vulnerable young children out of the streets and back into the school system.
